International Young Endoscopist Awards Program

• The IYEA program is intended to promote technical advancement and collaboration among international societies of GI endoscopy.
  This program has been held annually for young doctors in Asia from 2014 to 2019, and around 200 young endoscopists have participated in the AYEA (Asia Young Endoscopist Awards) program so far. From 2020, it will be expanded worldwide under the name of IYEA (International Young Endoscopist Awards).
• IYEA provides partial financial support to endoscopists outside Korea to receive clinical training in GI endoscopy in the field of Upper GI,
  Lower GI, ERCP or EUS at selected endoscopic training centers in Korea to enable them to acquire and develop new advanced knowledge
  and technical skills in GI endoscopy. Grants will be given to trainees to partially cover their travel expenses to and from Korea as well as for incidental expenses related to training including accommodation. Other expenses must be paid by the participants themselves, and the participant shall be responsible for making their own flight, ground transportation and hotel arrangements.
