We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for members to apply for an academic research grant funded by the Korean Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Research Foundation (KGERF) and the International Digestive Endoscopy Network (IDEN).


KGERF was established to contribute to academic research in gastrointestinal endoscopy and enhance public health. Since 2020, KGERF has been offering research funding to support overseas researchers.


This year, the grant aims to support groundbreaking research in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy and foster collaborative efforts between the International Society for Digestive Endoscopy (ISDE) and Thai Association for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (TAGE).


One researcher will be selected to receive up to USD 6,000 in financial support to advance their research.

GRANT DETAILS

  • Amount : USD 6,000 per researcher
  • Number of Grants : 3
  • Eligibility : Open to all active members of ISDE and TAGE
  • Obligations:
    - Research results must be presented at the KSGE annual fall conference or the IDEN conference within 2 years of receiving the funding.
    - A paper must be published in Clinical Endoscopy within 3 years, clearly acknowledging the support received from this grant.

TIMELINE

Call for application opens once a year.
  • Submission opens : 1 December 2024
  • Submission deadline : 31 January 2025
  • Notification of selected applicants : February 2025
  • Grant award ceremony : 14 June 2025 (during the IDEN 2025 General Assembly)
